Coldfusion
ProficiencyAll of Course Technology’s web sites were written in Coldfusion. I am familiar with the 4.5, 5.0, and MX versions. For the projects I architected, I choose to make generous use of custom tags in the middle tier, to separate the display from the data access layer.
Coldfusion is an interesting language. It strength lies in its rapid deployment and speed. However, it lacks user defined data types and real object support. It would not be my first choice for a web project, but you can create pages pretty fast; and if you architect the site correctly it can be easy to update both the data and look & feel.
